Your Conference VIM Coordinator is available to provide training to anyone wishing to lead a mission team.

Trained leaders will be equipped to provide mission opportunities, identify a mission site, recruit team members, develop a scope of mission, and orientate the team. The leader is the mission journey coordinator, team leader and team administrator.

Insurance providers and some mission sites are recently requiring leaders of teams to be Team Leader trained within the last three years. Training consists of a 6 hour class devoted to exploring mission and purpose, team leader attributes and responsibilities, types of teams and team guidelines, team member attributes, cultural and spiritual aspects of mission, and much more.

A small registration fee may be charged per participant to cover training materials and lunch.

Note: Team Leader training is good for those who might serve as assistant to the leader as well and even good for the whole team.
