We are at the beginning of a multi-year process of scanning all of the Journals of the Arkansas, North Arkansas, Little Rock, Ouachita, Southwest, and White River Conferences. About 170 journals are now available below.

Missouri/Arkansas Conference (Methodist Episcopal)

  • From 1853-60, Arkansas and Missouri held separate conferences, but the Arkansas Conference included churches in Southwest Missouri. The Arkansas Archives does not have copies of the Arkansas ME Conference Journal for these years. If you have any of the missing years, please contact the Arkansas Archives.

​Missouri and Arkansas continued to meet together until 1869, when the St. Louis Conference was created. From 1869-1872 Arkansas was part of the St. Louis Conference.  We don’t have any of those minutes, not even the printed journals. However, the State Historical Society of Missouri in Columbia does have the following printed journals:
