
Rev. Dr. William H. Robinson Jr., affectionately, called Paw Paw, (91 years old) a native of Little Rock, Arkansas. Rev. Robinson went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 16, 2025.
Rev. Robinson, a retired elder of the United Methodist Church, is the founder and served as Pastor Emeritus of Theressa Hoover Memorial United Methodist Church in Little Rock, AR. While serving at Hoover Church, he founded Black Community Developers Inc., whose name changed to Better Community Development Inc. (BCD).
He is the widow of Sara Collen Robinson. Together they were parents of eight children, four proceeded him: William H. Robinson III, Willie Ray Robinson, Eddie Robinson and Jacquelyn Robinson Bruce. He has four surviving children: Pastor Deborah Bell (Richard, Danny Ray Robinson (Bernita), Sandra McIntosh and Karen Robinson. He is survived by the Robinson Nation.
A family hour will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025, 5 to 7 pm, at Theressa Hoover Memorial UMC (4000 West 13th Street, Little Rock, AR). Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 24, at noon at Greater Second Baptist Church (5615 Geyer Springs Road, Little Rock).
