Little Rock, Ark. (February 17, 2026) – The Ozark Mission Project (OMP) Board of Directors has elected Jules Anderson as Executive Director. Anderson has served as Interim Executive Director since August 2025.
“I am deeply honored and humbled to step into this role,” said Anderson. “Ozark Mission Project is sustained by the faithful hands of volunteers, the generosity of donors, and the trust of our neighbors. I have witnessed firsthand the way God moves through this ministry not only repairing homes, but restoring dignity, hope, and belonging. That transformation has changed me as much as anyone we serve. I look forward to leading this remarkable organization as we continue repairing safe homes, building strong communities, and creating opportunities for people across Arkansas to experience the power of service.”
As Executive Director, Anderson will oversee all aspects of the organization’s operations, including strategic planning, fundraising, volunteer engagement, and program development. Anderson was selected following an open and competitive application process. She has served in multiple roles at OMP since 2021, including Director of Programs and Communication and Volunteer and Programs Coordinator.
“Jules has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to OMP’s mission and the communities we serve,” said Clark Cogbill, Chair of the OMP Board of Directors. “Her leadership, vision, and deep understanding of our programs uniquely position her to lead Ozark Mission Project into its next chapter.”
In 1986, Ozark Mission Project began with one camp and 35 participants in Imboden, Arkansas. Today, OMP hosts multiple summer mission weeks for middle and high schoolers, OMP 101 missions for elementary-aged children, and works with individuals, families, and groups to do work year-round. Approximately 1,500 youth, young adults, and families annually participate in OMP, serving close to 30 counties and all four corners of Arkansas.
Anderson is recognized as a Certified Volunteer Manager by the Arkansas Public Administration Consortium and a SERVE Curriculum Certified Trainer by the Civility Leadership Institute. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Arkansas. Anderson and her husband Coby have two daughters.
About Ozark Mission Project
Founded in 1986, Ozark Mission Project mobilizes youth and adult volunteers to complete home repairs and accessibility projects for individuals and families who cannot afford or physically manage the work themselves. All services are provided at no cost to homeowners as an answer to God’s call in Matthew 22:39 to love your neighbor as yourself. This work is made possible through the faithful support of volunteers, donors, churches, and community partners.
