Over the past year, I have embarked on a transformative journey, losing 75 pounds by walking regularly and eating thoughtfully. Through this experience, I’ve discovered a profound truth: our spiritual health and physical health are deeply intertwined. Caring for our bodies is a sacred act, and it enriches our relationship with God and others.
With this insight, I’m excited to invite you to join the ARUMC Virtual Walking Club, an initiative designed especially for Arkansas United Methodist Clergy and laity to support each other’s spiritual and physical journeys. Here’s how it works: Together, we will choose inspiring audiobooks or engaging podcasts to listen to as we walk individually. Afterward, we’ll connect through our Facebook group and discuss our reflections in a regularly scheduled Zoom call. It’s about community, accountability, and growth in both faith and health.
Ready to take the first step? Join our Facebook group, “ARUMC Virtual Walking Club,” at https://www.facebook.com/groups/9757116571004455/.
Together, let’s walk toward holistic wellness, deepening our connection with God and each other, one step at a time.
