Time: 2:30 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Has the neighborhood or community changed around your church in the last 30 years? Have you adapted to this change? Would you like ideas and coaching to get to know your neighbors better or in a more transformational way? JOIN NEIGHBORING JUMP START!

Do you have outreach, youth, and children’s ministries that need new life? Or do you want to connect better through these ministries? JOIN NEIGHBORING JUMP START!

Are you ready for lasting change and connection with others in your community? JOIN NEIGHBORING JUMP START!

The Arkansas Conference has teamed up with the Rio Texas Conference’s Learning Academy to offer Neighboring Jump Start for free to your local congregation. Spend 5 weeks with us on Zoom, learning, sharing, creating ideas, and taking action to jump-start your NEIGHBORING TEAM. Sessions will be led by Rev. Ray Altman.

What do you need to do? Team up with at least 3+ people who:

  • like making connections,
  • like creating new ideas for outreach, or
  • who want to take action in building better relationships in your community.

One person is designated as the team leader – someone responsible for submitting names and emails through the link and encouraging the team to gather on a regular basis.

Contact Mary Lewis Dassinger with any questions: Mdassinger@arumc.org
