Please pray for the family of Rev. Steve Long, a retired local pastor serving Concord and Cedar Grove UMCs. and formerly served at Jamestown and Desha UMCs. Rev. Long died on Monday, June 3 in Batesville at the age of 79.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty. Rev. Long served as a local pastor for 19 years and was a lay speaker for a number of years prior to receiving his license.
