Rev. Margaret “Sue” Kelly, 79, of Belleville, IL, born August 18, 1944, in Natchitoches, LA, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024, at her home.
Sue had a gift for pastoral duties whether it was programs for children, adults, or the elderly, and she had been ordained a deacon in 1998. She had a talent for quilting, loved her kids, gardening, and was a natural-born teacher. Sue was also a member of the Hot Springs Flute Ensemble.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie Adam and Ester Eblene Kelly (nee Haynes); and one brother, Leslie Allen Kelly.
Sue is survived by her beloved husband, Carl Primeaux; their daughter, Tara (Shawn Crane) Primeaux; one sister, Annie Kelly; and six grandchildren, Margeaux, Juniper, Macarius, Christiana, John David, and Charles.
