William “Richy” Wall Richardson, 69 of Little Rock, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024.
Richy was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, and attended high school in Sewanee, Tennessee, and Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, where he was the president of the Sigma Chi fraternity. Richy graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1977.
Richy was preceded in death by his parents William Richardson and Gail “Gigi” Richardson, his sister Pamela Ball, and his son John Wall Richardson. He is survived by his sisters Gaye Richardson (Vicki Tanner) and Abigail Fuquay (John Fuquay); children Brittany Richardson Watson (Clark Watson) and Harry Richardson (Özge Demirci-Richardson); grandchildren Joseph Watson, Fredrick Watson, and George Watson; many wonderful friends, including his work family at The Burgundy Hotel.
Richy was a standout soccer player in high school, an avid Razorbacks fan, and a golfer. In later years, Richy enjoyed traveling with family and exploring the outdoors.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 29th in the First United Methodist Church chapel in Little Rock, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers make a donation to an organization close to your heart. Arrangements are under the direction of RuebelFuneralHome.com.
