Alvin Ray Hunt, age 76, of Farmington, died on Monday, September 25, 2023.
Alvin was born September 27, 1946, in Gravelly, Arkansas to Herbert and Elsie Hunt. Alvin is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Gary Hunt, and a grandson, Bo Hunt.
Alvin is survived by his wife of almost 58 years, Patsy McCafferty Hunt, daughters, Melanie Tubbs and Emily Harp (Trey), three brothers, Lessley Hunt (Brenda) Jerry Don Hunt (Mattie), Donnie Hunt, sister, Sandy Rose (Lee), 4 grandchildren, Mallory Hillicoss (Dan), Lucas Tubbs (Lauren), Cody Gilbert (Noi), Ali Harp, 3 great grandchildren, Brenna, Bailey, Kellan and several nieces and nephews.
He was a truck driver for over 30 years and after retirement he spent many hours on the golf course. His family was the most important thing in his life and spending time with his grandchildren was what he enjoyed doing the most.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 2, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Westfield Chapel Funeral Home 3236 W. Huntsville Ave. Springdale, AR 72762. Family visitation is Monday from 1-2 p.m. before the service.
