Habitat for Humanity’s Apostles Build near completion

Little Rock, AR – The Habitat for Humanity’s first Apostles Build is nearing completion in Little Rock! Apostles Build is a partnership with Habitat for Humanity, St. James United Methodist Church, Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church, the Methodist Foundation of Arkansas and other United Methodist Churches in central Arkansas. The purpose of the build is to provide housing for low-income families.

All homeowners must be low to moderate income which is between 40-80% of the area median income as determined by HUD.  The homeowner pays a zero percent mortgage, and in lieu of a down payment they do 300 hours of “sweat equity” on their home or other Habitat projects.

The final mechanical work and inspections are being completed now, along with pouring the concrete driveway.
