Staffing Update for the Northwest District

Our good friend, Karen Anderson, has submitted her resignation letter to the Northwest District Office, effective February 16, 2023, to take on a new full-time position in the NWA area.

Karen joined the Northwest District staff in August 2020 as DCOM Registrar and Director of Lay Servant Ministries.  Karen’s love for equipping disciples made her a perfect fit for her work in the Northwest District.  While Karen will no longer be the Northwest District DCOM Registrar, she will continue to serve as the volunteer Lay Servant Director.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to Karen for her time as the Northwest District DCOM Registrar and her continued work with the Lay Servant Ministry, and we wish her well in her new position.

The Northwest District Office would like to take this opportunity to welcome Maggie Ramirez as a part-time assistant.  Maggie’s start date will be Monday, February 6.  She has already familiarized herself with the Northwest District Office, having worked with the staff in a temporary position this past fall.

Maggie is married to Nathan, and they have two children, Lincoln and Eleanor.  She is a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Fort Smith, where she volunteers and sings in the praise team.

Welcome, Maggie!  We look forward to being in ministry with you.

The Northwest District will be making the staffing transition in the coming days.  In the future, please direct your DCOM information and inquiries to Becky Neighbors, Northwest District Administrator.  We will continue to use the same DCOM email address used by Karen Anderson for all DCOM communications.
