Internship Opportunities

Camp Tanako

We are looking for someone who is energized by the summer camp experience. Flexibility is key, as members of the leadership team are always moving and adjusting. The position of Chaplain will assist in leading camp worships, as well as be an extra set of hands with various camp activities, such as leading small group, leading games, or leading staff bible studies.

Timeframe and Hours Expected: 10 weeks beginning May 26, hours vary as you will live on site.

Age Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age

Project Transformation Arkansas

Project Transformation’s faith-based summer internship program for young adults offers hands-on opportunities to build mutually enriching relationships with children, live in intentional community, experience cultural and socio-economic diversity, and explore various careers in ministry and service. Throughout the summer, young adults implement an eight-week summer day camp, explore vocational opportunities, develop spiritually, and build intentional community.​

Timeframe and Hours Expected: May 30th-July 29th, Camp hours: Monday to Thursday: 8am-3:30pm with meetings and worship many evenings, Vocational Exploration: Fridays 9am-12pm, Most Sundays: worship with host churches

Age Requirements: Must be at least 19 years of age OR have completed one year of college

Is housing provided? Yes, interns have the option of housing or may provide their own housing and transportation in the Pine Bluff community.

Shoal Creek Camp

Interns at Shoal Creek Camp will greet and work with rental groups to help them in their ministry. They must be someone with a servant heart willing to help lead games, take out the trash and be a mentor. They must be life guard certified and willing to meet new people.

Timeframe and Hours Expected: 10 weeks in summer months. Intern will only have to be at camp when there are groups at the camp.

Age Requirements: At least one year after graduating college

Ozark Mission Project

The goal of our summer college staff program is to equip and empower college students to make a global difference as disciples encouraging disciples. College Staff serve as a dynamic part of our leadership team at each mission location and are responsible for overseeing the overall experience of the mission week for community builders, neighbors, and community partners. College Staff get hands-on professional experience while deepening personal faith, developing leadership skills, building lasting relationships, impacting neighbors in Arkansas, and collaborating with numerous community partners.

Timeframe and Hours Expected: 2023 Summer Season is June 1-July 21. During mission weeks, you are on sight all day and night. Scheduled time off/breaks are included throughout the summer season.
