Pinnacle View UMC, located on Cantrell in West Little Rock, near Pinnacle Mountain and Chenal, is over 150 years old, in its fourth location, and continues to grow into a new vision with new members. This vitality includes a new food pantry, new United Women in Faith unit, partnerships in the community, a focus on justice and social holiness (LGBTQIA+, NAACP/Marade for MLK, Latino ministries), and a standout Community Pet Ministry that trains and deploys therapy dogs, supports pastoral care for pet families, pet education, pet rescue and advocacy.

Canvas Community
Canvas Community is a non-traditional mission living in community with our friends experiencing homelessness in downtown Little Rock. Bringing hope and providing a path forward in addition to a place to worship for many struggling with life’s obstacles is how we create a sense of belonging, safety, and stability, along with providing tangible necessities through our ministries like serving meals for and alongside our unhoused friends, Bridge to Work in partnership with the City of Little Rock, and holding space to receive mail, medical services, social services, and clothing/hygiene items. These ministries may be based at Canvas Community but are the epitome of serving through connection with others via our partnerships with area organizations, churches, and our homeless friends.
