Members of Magnolia First United Methodist Church were honored recently during the Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet.
Deborah Nipper received the Citizen of the Year Award; Gary Herron received the Educator of the Year Award; and Valerie Sanders, representing the Stewpot Ministry, received the Nonprofit of the Year Award.
Rev. Kenny Lee of Magnolia FUMC said, “My role was to present the award to Stewpot, but I was humbled and quite pleased to see how many outstanding community servants are part of this congregation.”
