Obituary – Judith “Judy” Wingfield Eaton Henderson

Judith “Judy” Wingfield Eaton Henderson, 89 of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away Monday, December 25, 2023, at Wentworth Place.

She was born February 21, 1934, in El Dorado, Arkansas to the late Lester Ray Wingfield and Rebecca Maxine (Whiddon) Norville and is preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Don Eaton, and Bob Henderson; and an infant son Steven Eaton.

Judy taught school for Magnolia Public Schools, was a member of Jr. Charity League, and First United Methodist Church. In her spare time, she liked to play bridge, paint, and play all types of card games with her children and grandchildren, and attend the Bonnie and Clyde Days. She also enjoyed playing Scabble with her family and was often called The Scrabble Queen due to rarely losing a game.

She is survived by her children, Lynn Roberson and Joe of Magnolia, Donna Flaherty and Jeff of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and Rev. David Eaton and JoNell of Akron, Indiana; her grandchildren, Brad Roberson and Lindsey of Emerson, Arkansas, Heather Simmons and Kevin of Sherwood, Arkansas, Jacob Flaherty of Magnolia, Caleb Flaherty and Anne of Houston, Texas, Riley Flaherty of Wichita, Kansas, James Eaton of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Jeremiah Eaton of Chicago, Illinois; great grandchildren, Aubrey Roberson and Weston Roberson of Emerson; sister Joan Daniels of St. Louis, Missouri; step son Dr. Rob Henderson and Steve Avitable of Dallas, Texas; sister in law Sara Eaton of Longview, Texas; her special caregiver Ashley Curry who Judy loved like family; and the amazing staff at Wentworth Place who always made her smile.

Visitation with the family will be Friday, December 29, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. A graveside service will be Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Magnolia Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Kenny Lee officiating.

Pallbearers will be Joe Roberson, Jeff Flaherty, Brad Roberson, Jacob Flaherty, Caleb Flaherty, Riley Flaherty, and Kevin Simmons.
