Wilma Jean Sossamon Mooney, age 89, beloved wife of Rev. Von Dell Mooney for seventy-two wonderful years, proud mother of Pamela Henley, Diane Thompson, Jeanie Keim (Steve), Randy Mooney (Donna Mae), and Howard Mooney (Julie), twenty-three grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren. Wilma was an active minister’s wife participating in churches throughout Arkansas and Missouri where she developed lifetime friendships along the way. She served as President of United Methodist Women in the North Arkansas Conference as well as other leadership positions. She will be dearly missed by her family members as their matriarch lovingly cooking all their favorite delicious foods, gardening on their beloved Gingerbread Lane in Conway, and devotedly loving ALL her family!
Graveside services were held December 6, 2022 at Venice Memorial Gardens, Venice, Florida. Celebration of Life will be held Friday, December 30, 2022 (her 90th Birthday) at Plumerville United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m.
