Camp Host

Stipend – $50 Gas stipend plus $75 per night stipend weekdays or $125 per night weekends

Mount Eagle is a Methodist affiliated retreat center offering lodging and facilities for guests. Our mission is to provide Christian hospitality and opportunities for holy listening. We are looking to add someone to help offer support to our guests. Camp Hosts can serve once, a few times per year, or multiple times per month, and the dates are flexible. Available dates to serve will be opened up and posted throughout the year as need
arises.

Overview:

The Camp Host is responsible for providing guest support and hospitality during assigned on-call hours, generally from 2:30 p.m. to 9:30 a.m. weekdays or all hours on weekends, as well as other scheduled hours as needed. Hosts are provided lodging in Noble House or other available accommodations.The Camp Host must be available to answer the on-call phone (which can be forwarded to a cell) when required and assist with the needs of guests and the retreat center.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Receiving phone calls from guests and responding to inquiries
• Assisting guests with facility-related issues
• Checking in groups and providing a welcoming arrival experience
• Assisting with laundry
• Helping with administrative and office tasks
• Responding to guest needs during assigned on-call hours

• Basic computer skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Strong communication skills
• Commitment to providing Christian hospitality
