JR HIGH- JULY 22-24, 2019
Sr High- July 24-27, 2019
Encouraging each other through affirmation is crucial to the growing process of a group. When a youth’s peers compliment them, they feel more confident in their self in relation to the group and can share deeper feelings. When friends share with a peer that they appreciate them, they realize that they are worthy of love and praise.
Small groups are the cornerstone of Assembly each year. 6-8 youth will spend quality time together with an adult leader twice each day, studying the Bible, responding to the message, discussing questions and growing closer to one another. This is where life long relationships are started.
Worship describes those times we gather deliberately seeking to encounter God in Christ. God uses worship to transform lives, heal wounded souls, renew hope, shape decisions, provoke change, inspire compassion, and bind people to one another.

WHAT IS ASSEMBLY?
Assembly is a week of discipleship featuring awesome worship, awesome people and one awesome God. It’s joining together with others your age to learn, grow, and laugh. It’s waking up and worshiping through word and song. It’s coming to an event and leaving with a “family”. It’s an opportunity to open up, to get real, to focus. It’s a chance to shift your thoughts, your actions, and your life from things of this world to the heart of Jesus. After all, true worship takes place when all people within a community seek the presence of God and are accepting of each other. That’s the biggest part of Assembly.

What are the accommodations like?
You will be sharing a dorm room (with, most likely, the person that you chose as your preferred roommate.) There will be shared hallway bathrooms, but rooms do have a sink.
Do I need sheets and towels?
Yes- you need twin bedding, including a pillow and blanket, as well as towels/washcloths.
What kind of clothes should I bring?
Mostly casual, remembering that “dress should be appropriate for a Christian environment,” as stated on the event form. If attending Senior High, you may want to bring something more dressy (church clothes) for Friday night worship, and if attending Junior High, you will need some clothes to wear for water games (including a dark colored t-shirt.)
Will there be cell reception?
Yes, but we encourage you to ALSO spend free time getting to know the people around you!
What activities will there be?
You will participate in worship, small groups, workshops, games, etc… Senior High will have a talent show this year, and Junior High will have water games.
Will I stay with my youth group?
Yes. You will have the opportunity to list who you want as a roommate, and you most likely will have others from your church in the rooms around you.
I'm coming as an adult chaperone, what is expected of me?
When you register, you will have the option to chose if you want to assist with a small group. If you do, we will assign a small group for you to join for the event, and we ask that you participate in all small group times/activities. If you chose NOT to assist with a small group, your only responsibilities will be making sure that the students you bring are participating in all events.
Will I need to bring money?
YSF will be open during the course of the week, so yes! Plan to purchase snacks and merch and help support Youth Service Fund!
What time does the event start and end?
Junior High Assembly registration starts at 9 am on Monday, and wraps up at noon on Wednesday. Senior High Assembly registration starts at 3 pm on Wednesday, and ends at noon on Saturday!
We simply want to make the young generation fully equipped with the teachings of Christ and make them Christ-centered individual. ACCYM encourages more and more youth in this conference in order to develop them physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually strong and prepared now and forever.
