One of every 4 kids in Arkansas struggles with hunger. In 2014, that was close to 200,000 children living in every county in our state. They could be someone you know – your friend, teammate, someone who sits next to you in class.
The 200,000 Reasons initiative is a six-year effort by the United Methodists of Arkansas to reduce childhood hunger in Arkansas. With 650 United Methodist churches in Arkansas, we can make a difference by working together with other churches, hunger agencies, local food pantries and feeding programs, community gardens and gleaning projects.
