Student Ministry and Communications Coordinator

Elm Springs United Methodist Church is seeking its next full-time Student Ministry and Communications Coordinator. The right person will have an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ and a desire to share Christ with others. As you cultivate Christian disciples with our young people (birth to 12th grade), you will need to connect with students, parents, and volunteers, as well as help provide streamlined, consistent communications with the congregation as a whole through email, social media, and worship services. This position has flexible hours and a competitive salary package.

Qualifications for this position include:

• A deep faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior
• College degree (preferred)
• 2 years minimum experience in student ministry (preferred)
• Technological proficiency with computers, audio/visual teaching tools, and social networking
• Competence working with worship media platforms and graphic design platforms
• A commitment to personal and professional development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong Organizational skills
• Must work in collaboration with other ministry leaders
• A willingness to listen
• Musical ability is a plus
