I love landscapes. But beautiful landscapes take work: keeping the shrubs and flowers healthy, mulching and – when needed – weeding. I’ve discovered several things about weeds since I get to do a lot of weeding. First, sometimes a weed is actually a misplaced flower. Second, you can’t pull weeds until they’re big enough to be able to get the roots. And third, weeds in wet ground come out a lot easier than when the ground is dry. Sometimes my life needs to be weeded of things I’m doing that aren’t good for God, others or me. And here’s what I’ve discovered. It’s a whole lot easier for God to do the weeding when I’m soaked in God’s grace.
