Patricia (Patty) Lee (Casey) Wilkerson 81 went to her reward Monday, March 28, 2022. She was the daughter of George T. and Oma Casey. She was born in Little Rock on June 13, 1940. She had diplomas from Central High School (1958) and Arkansas State University (1975) and she taught school for 28 years. Her many students gave her the opportunity to touch countless lives. She rejoices today with her parents, three precious children; Patrick and Jamie Wilkerson and Helen Albright, and her (he would say favorite) grandson Aaron Wilkerson in God’s kingdom.
She married Rev. Joe F. Wilkerson On March 6, 1960 and he was blessed with 62 years of her support in their ministry. They were blessed with four children George, Patrick, Helen, and Donny. She will live on in the hearts and memories of her surviving sons George and his wife Connie, and Donny and his wife Tabby. Surviving grandkids Sarah (Rama Pratt), Chance (Hillary), Naomi, Raine, Micah, Tanner, Trent, Jordan, Matison and Millee were always the apple of her eye. Recently the birth of her latest great-grandson, Aaron Matthew (Chance and Hillary) brought her special joy.
Her sister Linda and brother-in-law Bobby Jones and their sons Casey (Wendy), Bruce (Mandy), Jeff (Susan), and Tommy (Kristi) were all very dear to Patty.
She also leaves behind many other dear friends, cousins, great-grandchildren, and other relatives.
A celebration of life will take place Saturday, April 2 at 10 a.m. in the Asbury United Methodist Church sanctuary, 1700 Napa Valley Drive, Little Rock, AR. Rev. Tommy Jones and Rev. Jeff Jones will lead us in the celebration of life. The Asbury Prison Praise Band will provide the music.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to an organization that was very dear to ‘MeeMaw’, Aaron Meals (www.aaronmeals.com), which provides food and clothing for those in need.
