Our grandson, Henry, came to visit us for Easter weekend, and was kind enough to bring his parents. We had a wonderful visit, doing all of the sorts of things you do on an Easter weekend with a grandchild. Sadly, it ends early this morning when they pack up and head home. But Karen and I will have cherished memories. I’ve been thinking about Easter this morning and wondering whether the joy of celebrating the resurrection yesterday will just be a cherished memory today. Hopefully so, since it’s a gift from God that lingers in your soul. But there’s also more to it. Far more. That’s because the resurrection of Jesus is so powerful that you are able to actually experience how it changes your life every single day.
