Today I will have a Zoom meeting with a military chaplain, lead a Lenten Devotional, dedicating an event center hall for a beloved saint of the Arkansas Conference, the late Rev. Herschel McClukin, Jr. and meet with a church. Life finally is getting back to normal as I’m able to get out and about among the United Methodists of Arkansas. Yet war crimes still are being committed in Ukraine, Covid is spiking in Korea and children will die today in Arkansas because they don’t have enough food. Normal may feel good, but it’s not always good. But God is still present. And God is still at work. Not just in some ethereal way. But through you. And that means you can be an angel of hope all day long.
