It was like magic! I walked into my local grocery store the day after Christmas, and the reds and greens of the season had morphed into the reds and pinks of Valentine cards, candy and presents. I literally found myself shaking my head in disbelief. That’s because, at best, I’m ambivalent about Valentine’s Day because I consider it a made-up holiday that’s primarily about making money. At worst, I’m simply cynical. But like everything, I believe God can use it for good. And that’s where you come in. Go ahead and have fun with the cards, candy and presents. But, then, find a way to share the greatest love in the world with someone who greatly needs it.
