When life is difficult and hard, I look for something that will make me feel better. And when I do, I am amazed how I am overwhelmed by blessings that change how I feel: a beautiful sunset, a hug from Karen, Facetiming with my grandson, Henry, or realizing I am in a warm home on a bitterly cold day. These blessings are wonderful and I give God thanks for them. But, ultimately, there is a more important blessing. It is God’s blessing that comes through His love in Jesus, and it is the blessing of all blessings. And my daily prayer is that I will seek it with all that I have all the time.
