Christmas may not be over until Epiphany, but it’s time to get back to the routines of real life. Time for the kids to go to school, company to go home and the bills to be paid. That’s not bad. In fact, it’s good. Because real life is where many of the best things in life happen. It’s where you find God, follow Jesus, learn to love more fully, encounter the fullness of Jesus’ grace and care for other people. So if returning to the routines of real life after the excitement of the holidays leaves you a bit depressed, remember that real life is where you really live.
