October 29, 1978 – January 19, 2022
On Wednesday, January 19, 2022, the Lord called to rest Tara Denise Brewer. She was born October 29, 1978 to Rev. Denise Bray and Oscar Cole, Jr., in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Tara accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior at St. James Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. She served as a junior usher and sang in the youth choir.
She attended Fort Smith Public Schools and graduated from Northside High. Tara retired from the Whirlpool Corporation where she worked for over 15 years. She loved to cook. She also enjoyed listening to music and painting. Tara was an awesome mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was a big-time Arkansas Razorback fan. Tara loved deeply and unconditionally. She was known for keeping it real and making everyone laugh.
Tara was preceded in death by a daughter Ty-Riah Jahne Jordan; mother Rev. Denise Bray; stepfather Virl Brewer; and a brother Bryant William Brewer.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her father Oscar Cole, Jr., of Lawton, OK; a daughter Tyarah Jordan; two sons Tyrin Jordan and Myles Brock; four brothers Virl Brewer (Ann), Oscar Cole III of Dallas, TX, Vincent Cole, and Timothy Sean Cole (Keyla) of Clarksville, TN; three sisters Andrea Merriwether (Rashim) of Little Rock, AR, Dionne Cole of Dallas, TX, and Tori Barnes; her beloved grandson Kingston Davis and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
