I was getting ready to start my day the way I usually start my day with a time of prayer, reflection and writing a devotional. As I was getting ready to begin, it was clear my grandson, Henry, was in a mood to play. So I dropped everything (figuratively, not literally!), got down on the floor and played with him until it was clear he was ready for a nap. Then – and only then – I started back up where I had left off. I don’t need to tell you that some things are so important that you willingly drop everything to do them. This is true with God as well. There are times it is abundantly clear God wants you to do something. And yes, it may be unexpected or seem inconvenient or even cause you to rearrange your schedule. But that’s okay. Go ahead and do it. Because divine disruptions are the best disruptions of all.
