I can carry out much of my work anywhere I might be, as long as I have good internet connectivity, my computer and a Zoom account. And I have during the pandemic, including the recent surge, as I have worked quite a bit from home. But this ability to work anywhere also has allowed me to travel with Karen to Houston this week in order to see her father, who was admitted to the hospital – and in the spirit of transparency, I must admit that I am also getting to spend some time with our grandson, Henry. This ability to work anywhere and anytime has reminded me of something about a relationship with God. It’s easy to assume that you have to be in Church to connect with God. But you don’t. You can do it anywhere. And anytime. All it takes is your time, your desire and your willingness to set everything else aside so you can be open to God who is trying to connect with you.
