We’re in the middle of a quick trip to visit Karen’s nearly 94 year old father, Earl, and our 3 ½ month old grandson, Henry. It is stunning how much Henry has changed in so many ways during the last two months. Most importantly, of course, he now smiles at his grandpa – a lot! What’s interesting about Henry’s big changes is that they are actually the result of small changes that have occurred every single day. Sometimes so small not even his parents may have noticed them. This is exactly what happens on your spiritual journey of growing as a disciple of Jesus. Making small changes every day to love Jesus and others more adds up to a big change in your faith over a period of time. So make a small change today. And tomorrow. And the day after that. And the day after that. And be amazed at how your life changes for the better, because small changes always lead to big changes.
