Rev. Floyd Lee Ray, 82, quietly went to be in the arms of Jesus on September 05, 2021. He was born on September 13, 1939 in McCroy, Arkansas to Raymond and Nancy Ray.

Floyd was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves serving for God and his country. Rev. Ray answered the call of Jesus for his divine gift to the ministry of the Gospel of Christ and dedicated his life to that calling for over 50 years. Rev. Ray used his professional skills of being a salesman and entrepreneur to assist the startup of many small churches throughout Arkansas. Floyd’s last request for his family and friends to know is “I’m gone to Glory, please follow me to Glory.”

Rev. Ray is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers: Eugene, Bill, Charles, and Phillip Ray.

Rev. Ray is survived by his son: Brian Ray; daughter: Keri Burroughs and husband Jeff all of Arkansas; sister: Lola Ray Hobbs and husband Joe of Lubbock, Texas; two grandchildren: Zachary Burroughs and Macy Burroughs; as well as three great- grandchildren.  The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Cathy Anthony, for being a true friend who honored Floyd as his caretaker for the last three years.

Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, September 09, 2021, 10:00 a.m. at Graceland Cemetery, 2122 West Pullen Street, Pine Bluff, AR 71601. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
