Like the Apostle Paul, I know all the things I do that I don’t want to do and all the things I don’t do that I know I should want to do. In other words, I know the reality of sin. Yet I also know the far greater gift of Jesus’ salvation that forgives, redeems, heals and transforms me as I seek to become perfect in love. This amazing grace is the reality of all realities on which I choose to anchor my life. It defines who I am and who I aspire to be. It comforts and challenges me. It sobers and fills me with joy. But most of all, it unleashes in me Jesus’ gift of living in the Kingdom, beginning right now regardless of what my life is like and continuing forever more in glory. And in response, I discover desiring to live in Jesus’ love more and more every day.
