You make choices every day. Some are highly consequential, perhaps life changing; others are soon forgotten. But almost unbeknownst to you, you make choices every day that have a life-lasting impact. These are choices about how you view – how you view God, how you view yourself, how you view others, how you view life and how you view your purpose. If you choose to be negative, cynical and critical, it will slowly poison your life. But if you choose to thank God for loving you, decide that following Jesus is the most important thing in your life, see yourself as saved by Jesus’ love on the cross, visualize yourself living in the Kingdom of God right now, look at life as a wonderful gift filled with opportunities regardless of what’s going on, and view others as people to cherish, it will enrich your life. Of course, it’s going to be a challenge to change your view; probably even a lifelong project. But when you do, you’ll change your life.
