The holidays are upon us, and even in the midst of the restrictions that come with the pandemic, Methodist Family Health is still committed to our mission of providing the best possible care to those who need our help. For us this season of giving, this means making sure the kids and teens in our programs have gifts to open on Christmas morning.

We anticipate the need will be even greater this year, mostly because of financial hardships many families are facing right now. To make being Santa as smooth as possible, we have developed several ways to provide gifts for our clients this Christmas. New this year are digital wish lists and virtual gift-giving where you can select a client online, see what items they would like, purchase right then and ship directly to Methodist Family Health. This ensures you have a healthy, safe and convenient shopping experience during this ongoing pandemic. To see the wish lists and ways to shop online, visit MethodistFamily.org/MFHSecretSanta.html.

However, if you would prefer we do the shopping for you, you can donate to our Christmas Gift Fund at MethodistFamily.org/Donate. Any amount helps us provide a much-needed and wanted present to the abandoned, abused and neglected children in our care during Christmas. Or, if you prefer to shop for just the right gift yourself, we will gladly accept it at our facility in a safe manner by following all health and safety guidelines set out by the Arkansas Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control. Regardless of how you would like to give, we (and especially our children and families) profoundly appreciate your generous spirit.

If you would like to be a Secret Santa or have questions about this program, please contact Amy Shores, director of pastoral care, at Methodist Family Health, at ashores@methodistfamily.org or 501-733-7870.
