The world’s in a tough spot right now with the Covid pandemic, political polarization, hatred being spewed regularly, an economy that’s tanked, raging wildfires and hurricanes. But it’s not just about issues. It’s how every issue translates into real pain for millions of people – real people who hurt, cry, get sick, become depressed, feel desperate and die. It’s heartbreaking – absolutely heartbreaking. Sure it’s important what you think and say about these big issues, but it’s even more important what you do. So make sure you tip that server a bit extra. Work at your church’s food pantry. Pray unceasingly. Wear a mask. Vote. Reach out to a friend who’s struggling. And tell someone Jesus loves them and that you do, too. In other words, do what you can do today – because God and you can do a lot.
