The world is overcome with pain and injustice. But how I respond is always shaped by the fact that I am a Christian who has experienced a love so powerful that I am compelled to share it. When I feed the hungry, I serve those Jesus served. When I help bring health to people, I continue Jesus’ healing ministry. When I welcome those pushed to the margins of life, I welcome those Jesus welcomed. When I speak out about injustice, I share Jesus’ passion for those who are oppressed. This means I do more than addressing issues. It means I share Jesus’ love that brings healing, new life, hope and joy to every single person in every conceivable situation in ways that make a real difference to them. And that’s a holy privilege.
