Jesus spent a great deal of time teaching between his triumphant entry into Jerusalem and his arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane. His teaching was powerfully truthful. It was also provocative enough to lead to his arrest, sham trial and execution. This was a difficult time because the pressure of the forces arrayed against him was increasing and he knew what he soon must face. But Jesus experienced the power of God’s presence and remained faithful to God. The coronavirus pandemic is a powerful reminder that your life also is not always easy or fun or exactly the way you wish it would be. But the power of God’s presence is with you and you can remain faithful to God. Don’t spend this pandemic waiting for life to begin again – experience it abundantly in Jesus right now.
