Will it ever get better? Will my life gain some sense of normalcy? Will I be devastated financially? Will I ever be able to make sense of what is happening? These are all important questions that you have every right in the world to ask God. However, just because you ask them doesn’t mean you’ll get answers as quickly or clearly as you would like. And it certainly doesn’t mean that you’ll get the answers you want – especially if you ask them in a way that challenges God, puts God into a corner, gives God the answer you want to hear or expects God to treat you as more important than anyone else in the world. That’s why really listening to God with your mind, spirit and heart is so important. Because when you do, you’ll hear God saying, For I know the plans I have for you…plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
