By Wednesday of Holy Week, Jesus knew he was facing betrayal, pain, humiliation, torture and death. He also knew he had to keep pressing forward to the cross in order to be faithful. Sadly, too many Jesus followers today think the main reason to be a Christian is beauty, wealth, popularity and success. But it’s not. It’s faithfulness.
