Sometimes you ask God challenging questions, judge others harshly and fall short of what you know God wants. No wonder you conclude, “I’ll never be faithful enough to be faithful.” You’re right, you won’t. But God’s not concerned with you proving how smart, loving or faithful you are. Rather, God cares how you respond to God’s unconditional never-give-up eternal love that enables you to know what you need to know, have more compassion than you know what to do with and do those things that truly matter. And, maybe, that’s the point.
