You probably have a pretty clear idea where to find God – in church, as you pray, with people of deep faith and in those places where you previously have encountered God. But you also can find God in places where you might least expect to find God – with people who have hard questions about God, in the midst of failure, in prisons and among those living on the margins. There’s a simple reason why. God has a way of showing up where God’s unconditional, transformational and invitational love is most needed and almost always least expected.
