Some people just don’t like you. You can’t figure out why, have no idea what you did to offend them and seem unable to fix things. That’s when you need to do the very last thing in the world you probably feel like doing – pray for that person. Not that she will get a good dose of her medicine, as tempting as that may be. But that you will better understand her, catch a glimpse of her brokenness and change what you need to change about you. Doing this is not a prayer of last resort uttered because you don’t know what else to do. It’s how you live out your relationship with God in real ways in real life.
