You encounter dozens of people during the course of a day. Some make you so mad you want to change them, others stir up such deep compassion you want to help them and still others are so intriguing you want them to be part of your life. But is there a way to deal meaningfully with all these people you encounter each day? Yes – pray. It doesn’t have to be long – just a sentence or two and some time listening to God. The point is to make prayer as much a part of your life as breathing in and out. So today when someone makes you angry – pray. When a person is the victim of an injustice – pray. When an individual crosses your path who seems like a special gift – pray. And then make sure to pray for yourself as well. Because when you pray in this way day after day, you unlock the power of prayer that changes your life forever.
