A Sunday Prayer 12/4/16

Lord God,

I long to find – but You’ve already found me.

I strive to see You – but You’re already looking at me through loving eyes.

I want to touch You – but You’re already embracing me.

I desire to be good enough for You – but You’re already loving me just the way I am.

Lord, help me experience how it always starts with You – and how You’re already giving me all I want, all I need and all I could ever hope for.

So today, Lord, let me praise You, glorify You, give You thanks, and, then, live Your way – with joy, passion, purpose, generosity, compassion and hope.

Amen.
