Sometimes you don’t think God acts the way you think God should act. Sometimes you judge others too quickly and harshly. And sometimes you fail to do what you know God wants you to do. No wonder you sometimes despair that you’ll never be faithful enough to be faithful. Well, you’re right. You won’t. At least on your own. And that’s okay. Because God is far more concerned about how you respond to God than what you can do on your own. In fact, God longs for you to recognize God’s love, trust it completely and allow it to guide you every second of every day. And if you invite God to do what God wants you to do, you’ll be astounded as you discover what you need to know about God, have more compassion than you know what to do with and spend your time doing what God wants.
