You may not know it. Or, if you do, you may not think about it very much. But that doesn’t make it any less true. You’re thirsty. Really thirsty. In fact, you’re parched. Not for water. But for God’s love. It’s a love that comes to you just the way you are, accepts you just as you are, heals you when you don’t think it’s possible, refuses to leave you the way you are and invites you into the deepest imaginable relationship. Which means you have a choice. You can spend your life trying to satisfy your thirst by focusing on yourself, what you think you should do and everything you want. Or you can turn to God and let God quench your thirst with the living water that gives you abundant life – starting now and lasting into eternity itself.
