Interruptions occur all the time. Sometimes you welcome them. But most of the time you probably view them as a pain in the neck because they add additional stress to an already jam-packed life. Thankfully, however, there’s an entirely different kind of interruption – God’s interruption. God interrupts your wandering away from God, self-centeredness, feelings of unworthiness, destructive behavior, too-small vision of life and hopelessness. Sometimes God does this by speaking to you in a still small voice. But most of the time God interrupts you through people who show up, situations that change, and things that don’t work out the way you had planned. So take some time to ask yourself this question the next time your life is interrupted: “Could this interruption that seems so annoying actually be the best thing that’s going to happen to me all day?”
