Lord knows you have more than enough of your own stuff to keep you busy for a lifetime. But sometimes God calls you to look beyond yourself and reach out in the face of horrible tragedy. This is one of those times – Christians being killed for their faith, a brutal dictator in Syria forcing millions to flee for their lives, thousands of children dying from starvation each day, sex-trafficking reaching epidemic levels, millions of young people in our nation growing up with little hope for a better life. And these are just a few of the things on a list growing longer by the day. So where’s the moral outrage? Prayer vigils? Calls for governments of the world to do whatever it takes to stop this? Sadly, there often is a deafening silence from people of faith. Which is why God is calling you to break that silence. Because if not you, then who?
